Slowly Down The Ganges

Jewels of the West

Kicking things off in India’s city of dreams – Mumbai, we’ll take a walk through Dharavi, Mumai’s largest slum (it’s not what you think), visit the Dhobi Ghat – a massive open air laundry, mix with the locals and try some of the local snacks at Chowpatty. This adventure then takes us through the colourful Indian state of Gujarat. With former Portuguese colonies steeped in history, local villages full of artesian handicrafts and an incredible array of wildlife, this adventure promises to have something for everyone.
